Learn how to connect your compatible headset with your Xbox

A stealth Xbox one headset can be connected to the Xbox gaming console in three ways. You can use the 3.5 mm jack and connect using a cable, connect using a stereo headset adapter or through the Bluetooth mode. Let’s look at the brief procedure to connect the headset to the Xbox gaming console.

Connect Directly with 3.5 mm Jack

If you have a headset with a standard 3.5 mm cable and a gaming console with a standard 3.5 mm jack port, you can connect the device directly to the device by inserting the 3.5mm jack into the port and alter the setting to start using the headset.

Connect with Stereo Adapter

Each Xbox one controller has a slot for connecting a stereo headset adapter. Insert the rectangular expansion on your adapter into the slot in the controller. Adjust the setting to start using the headset. Some stealth headsets have different looking adapters. If the headset you have does not fit into the adapter slot, you can use a RCA cable or a optical audio cable to connect your headset to the controller of Xbox one.

Connect through Bluetooth

You can connect your headset to your Xbox one Controller or gaming console using a wireless media. Turn on the Bluetooth mode on your headset by pressing the power button and the mute button till they star to flash alternatively. On your Xbox one, adjust the settings of your Bluetooth to discover the headset and click on the confirmation button to connect.
